Punn's are kind of old now but they are really funny to some people, puns today is like the new generation of jokes.  I think that this video sure shows how puns are used today.  Also this video is filled with many puns that we sometimes use in school or what we say to our friends which we think is very PUNNY.

Musical inspiration

5/2/2016

Music can be a really important part of our lives because it can represent many thing such as your life ect. Who is your musical inspiration and why is this person so inspiring? Well my musical inspiration is someone like these artists/ groups Drake, Lukas Graham, Ariana Grande, The chainsmokers, Kanye West, DNCE, Luke Bryan, Gwen Stefani, And Blake Shelton. Most of these artists or groups songs are mostly what I listen to almost everyday after school but the types of music that i like is mostly Hip-Hop, country, etc.
People say that “Music is a great part of your life” well in my opinion I agree with that because I love music so much and also some of my media classmates love that too. Groups like DNCE and The chainsmokers are mostly like hip-hoppy or like really groovy to the point that you just want to stand up out of nowhere and just start dancing and that’s exactly how I feel when I hear some of these group’s songs. These two groups that I chose makes really groovy like songs such as “Cake by the Ocean” or “Roses” but i thinks it’s just the beat of the song that makes you want to start dancing in the middle of nowhere.
All of these artists that have been here for a long time and the ones that have just started are sometimes making super sad breakup songs, love songs, or just groovy songs that you would want to dance to. Going to country music, Luke Bryan and Blake shelton is two of my favorite artists who make country songs that I really like because I like the western accent and I also like the words that they put in their songs. Some of my favorite songs that Blake have sang is “Good country song” and “Bringing back the sunshine” but some of the songs that I like from Luke Bryan is “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day’ and I also like “Fast”.
I gotta say that hip hop is my favorite kind of music that I listen to and sometimes danced to when I was in elementary school. I mostly listen to Drake, Lukas Graham, and sometimes Kanye West the most. All of the songs these artists makes is very happy sometimes or sometimes very inspiring to me just by some of the words in the song.
In conclusion, Music is a good or great part of my life and also some of the songs these artists/ groups make is very inspiring to me. There is more artists out there that are also very inspiring to me such as Daya, Laura Marano, G-Eazy, etc. Music is sometimes very relaxing and it can also be really sad too, maybe it can also be so dance like too.

top 1o movies

All of these movies are wonderful some are new and some maybe a second or third version. But most of these movies will be hilarious and some of these movies might be a little too intense for kids. These movies are all unique because of the illustrations of the character or the way it is focused on the character and the background.

Comfort Zone

4/15/2016

Today’s blog topic will be about how you left your comfort zone and did it work? Or was it a FAIL?  Well most of mine did come from school and from our STN trip just because I left my comfort zone to try something new. I stepped out of my comfort zone many times in my life and I felt like it was very strange but actually stepping out of your comfort zone really makes a difference in your life.
First, One time I stepped out of my comfort zone was when I started the Wilcox School Creative Arts which is an after school dance practice for grades 3-5. But when I started i felt like I wanted to do it but when I first performed a dance routine in front of the school and my classmates I didn’t realize it but I had stage fright and this put me to become out of my comfort zone but I kept on going like nothing happened. This was a very weird experience for me because I didn’t run off the stage and after that I felt like I accomplished myself.
Secondly, This one happened in the start of this school year because i wasn’t very comfortable when I started seeing eighth graders and seventh graders because i thought they were mean. But turns out after going to different classes on the first day of school i got to be friends with eighth graders and seventh graders too and I was glad to step out of my comfort zone that time.
Finally, This last one also happened during this school year because I wasn’t very comfortable filming with filming for our quarterly projects because I have never done it before and this was another way I stepped out of my comfort zone. But after working with Kolten I have learned a lot especially with filming projects because for a great shot you have to get a composed shot and it has to be focused so it becomes really clear ect. In our media class students use many different types of cameras and it has a special thing that people like about it like “It focuses very well” or “The shots with this camera is very neat” so there is many things about cameras that film videos or cameras that just takes pictures.
In conclusion, Stepping out of your comfort zone makes you lead in many ways in your life and it can be successful or not successful but I always have to remember to keep on trying no matter what and by this saying it has helped me a lot.

Top three moments

Did you ever go on a trip with your class or your family to different states and remember the memories you made there? Well The media group and I went on a two week trip to Atlanta and New York. During this trip we made a lot of wonderful and funny memories as a group like going to 6 flags, riding the airplane, riding the ferry to the statue of liberty etc.

First, In Atlanta we made super funny memories such as eating dinner at Pittypat’s porch with our pen pal’s from Castaic Middle School which we talked a lot and laughed alot. Another thing that I remembered was when we were in our hotel rooms of most of the day facetiming everyone because we usually miss each other in a quick moment but during that time some people slept. Also we kind of lost our voice from yelling our heads off at the STN closing ceremonies which I thought was really hilarious and very, very wonderful because we won 8/9 awards which we were all very proud of.

Second, On our way to New york we were all
excited to see everything so we mostly held in our screams until we went to the Empire state building which is actually very exciting. Also in New York we also got to go on Ellis island and the island that the Statue of Liberty is placed. Also In New York we got to see the subways which I thought at first was very creepy but I got used to it and I liked it after.

Finally, Also during this trip we got to experience many things such as in Atlanta we got to be part of STN which we had a great time doing. We also experienced a Broadway show in New York and that was a very cool experience for me. We also got to experience ice skating in New York too and it was very cold but we had so much fun there.

In conclusion, This trip from Atlanta to New York was a great experience for the CKTV class and I. We got experience many memories together as a group and we also didn't have that much stress during this trip. I hope we could go there again next year for STN because we had so much fun experiencing many things in both Atlanta and New York.

I know I'm late but I really want to watch this movie and it seems really cool. This trailer has a lot of action in it and I really like how the shots are so still and also focused. In my opinion I think this would be the best move of 2016 because it shows a lot of action and it really is eye catching.

Contests

2/9/2016

Hey guys! So for this week’s blog is about contests so these contests are for one the Kauai Museum of art Contest and the Olelo Youth Xchange Contest. So I’m going to talk to you about what picture I’m going to submit to the Kauai Museum of art Contest and I’m going to explain to you if we might submit our video.

So first I’m going to talk to you guys about what I think of the picture below which I’m going to use for the Kauai museum of art contest. So I think that this ginger flower picture below is a very focused shot and that vibrant orange color really pops out from this shot. I also like this picture because with two flowers it’s better to see in pictures other than so many flowers in one wide shot.

I was also planning to take more photos so shots can be more focused and so I can have a variety of pictures to choose from. Also with different plants or objects will make the picture look more interesting and more eye catching. Vibrant colors will also help too, well for another picture I was planning to do was a sunset photo because no way i’m going to wake up at 5 in the morning to take a sunrise photo.

So for the Olelo Youth Xchange Contest Kolten and I was planning to submit our tip top 100th year anniversary video. This video is mainly about how this restaurant has passed down from generation to generation but it’s not only the bosses it’s the employees too. So I think that with this video submitted to the Olelo Youth Xchange it may tell kolten and I to keep working hard revising a video over and over again but the main struggle for this video is that it’s 3 minutes long and they want the video to be 2 minutes long.

In conclusion, Contests are really hard but the main thing to do is to work hard and keep on trying. So these contests are kind of a struggle to me because most of our media classmates are submitting their video that was on Hiki No but this tip top video was not picked for Hiki No so I’m kind of worried about this video. But just strive for what you think of and what others don’t think of and ”Be the change you want to see in the world” - Mahatma Ghandi

Wow another disney princess coming! well as you know already Dwayne Johnson is the character Maui and Auli’i Carvalho as Moana. So in this movie it’s just like how the Hokulea traveled to tahiti or when the tahitians traveled to hawai’i with a canoe and navigating the stars and the same kind of happens in this movie. So this movie will be coming out November 23rd.

youtubers

1/29/2016

Hey guys! So this week’s blog post will be about YouTubers. So as you know most youtubers are really unique and creative people. My favorite youtuber is between Alex Wassabi and Ryan Higa but I think that I got to go with Ryan Higa because he has great videos so after this blog go and check out his page. Well it’s not really about the subscribers but I think that it’s so cool to see that people like Ryan Higa has around 16 million subscribers. I’m going to talk about what the videos are mainly about, Who is it mainly for, and why should we watch these videos.

So what are the videos mainly about, Well I think that Ryan Higa’s videos are mainly about having a great friendship, having a great time being creative, it’s also about being funny and having a great time together as friends. Some of the videos I like from his channel is his challenge videos such as the “I Dare you..” and a lot more but I also like the “Dear Ryan...” videos that he makes. Ryan’s videos are also mainly about being really funny and make everyone laugh.

Ryan’s videos are mainly for people who needs a laugh or for people who are moody and needs to be happy. Also Ryan’s videos are for people who want to see some cool things like how he makes his movie trailers and also seeing his stunts which are really cool. Ryan also has funny videos that make you laugh like “Lifehacks (Dear Ryan)”. Ryan has a nice sequence shot but the only thing is that there are some jump cuts in some of his videos.

We should watch Ryan’s videos because you get to see how funny and how encouraging Ryan is. We should watch Ryan’s videos because he is creative and unique when he makes his videos like “The Cardboard” you have to watch this video because I think it’s really cool. You can tell that Ryan’s videos are special to him because almost all of his videos are with his friends.

So go and check out Ryan's videos and watch all of them because some can be really creative and some can be really funny. So these are the reasons why you should watch Ryan’s videos. I think it’s really worth it to have 16 million subscribers with so funny and  creative videos.
